The Stage 3 TH400 for 1JZ/2JZ engines was designed for the extreme high performance street or all out race car. This Transmission is built for the 2JZ engine using our Reid bell adapter and a Modified Reid Chevy Bell (purchased separately). Our Full Manual Competition Transmissions will give you consistent shifts as well as complete control over shift points. Handles up to 1000 horsepower at the wheels. The Stage 3 TH400 has a reverse shift pattern and requires no vacuum hookups or kickdown linkage. This means there are no external linkages to be purchased, which saves some expense. The increased line pressure provides a harder, quicker shift and eliminates the lag time between shifts produced by automatic shift transmissions ***** Do Not Ever downshift from 3rd gear to 2nd gear at any High RPM or Downshift from 2nd gear to 1st gear before stopping vehicle with this Transmission, will cause catastrophic failure and possible injury to self. *****
