This valve will regulate the torque converter pressure. Lower converter pressure reduces the chance of having thrust main bearing issues in the engine.The kit includes a billet aluminum governor cover, 12" premade hose, misc fittings and regulator valve. This is the new design valve with three pressure ports for monitoring torque converter charge pressure.The ATI TH-400 case doesn't have the factory governor boss therefore this kit will not work. The case will have to be tapped for a fitting just like the Powerglide does. So we recommend using the Powerglide kit instead (Part#:330601).
